How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches out to Effecttop Pest Control to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.
Topics We Want to Hear About
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Effecttop Pest Control
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If Your Concern Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, pricing, products, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, start by raising it with the provider directly, and keep a written record.
We still want to know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed. Keep in mind that Effecttop Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you can also contact the agency that regulates pest control in Colorado.
Filing Your Complaint
Email contact@effecttop.garden and include:
- Your name and the way to reach you that works for you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want from us
After You Write
We will confirm receipt of your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We then review what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
